Seville — Live There
One apartment in Seville for a month.
The opposite of the first three trips. You already know Seville clicked. The question now: What happens if you actually live somewhere you already like?
Why this trip
Collecting destinations is easy. Living in one is harder and more revealing. Seville in autumn or spring stays socially alive outdoors without summer brutality. Museums and neighborhoods unfold slowly. Córdoba, Cádiz, Jerez, and a white village or two are escapes — not the point.
The idea
One apartment in Seville for a month.
Triana or near the center. Same café, same market, same gym. Córdoba or Cádiz only if you feel like leaving.
What the days could feel like
Not a rigid itinerary — a realistic rhythm.
Morning
Coffee shop, market errand, or Spanish practice before work-from-café hours.
Afternoon
One neighborhood or museum — never three.
Evening
Where locals actually congregate: plazas, riverside, late dinner.
Anchor experiences
- Same café every morning until they know your order
- Neighborhood market as a weekly ritual
- Gym or church/community routine if you want one
- Museums and barrios at a human pace
- Short escapes only: Córdoba, Cádiz, Jerez, one white village
Suggested route
Not a locked itinerary — a shape of the trip with room to bounce.
Real-world cost picture
The win is routine — same café, gym, neighborhood — not covering all of Spain.
A month in one apartment beats hotel-hopping. Autumn/spring beats brutal summer pricing and heat.
- Flights
- West Coast → Seville (SVQ) via Madrid/other hubs: often ~$550–1,100 RT in Oct–Nov or Mar–Apr.
- Lodging
- Monthly apt in Triana / near centro: often ~$900–1,800/month depending on season and how nice you go.
- Food
- ~$25–45/day markets + tapas if you’re not doing tourist menus every meal.
- Getting around
- Walk + tram/bus. Short escapes (Córdoba, Cádiz, Jerez) by train — budget ~$80–200 total for a few side trips.
- Trip ballpark
- ~$2,800–5,000 for 30 days if the apartment deal is good.
